Warm amber and cream tones over a dark textured background, with soft golden light suggesting handwritten manuscript pages and the quiet atmosphere of language preservation.

How Contributions Work

The Diksionario de Ladinokomunita is a community-driven project. Speakers and learners of Judeo-Spanish are invited to submit new entries, helping to document and preserve the language for future generations. Each submission adds to a growing multilingual resource spanning Djudeo-Espanyol, Castellano, English, and Türkçe.

What You'll Need

  • Djudeo-Espanyol headword — the Judeo-Spanish word or phrase you are adding.
  • Example sentence (Egzemplos) — a natural sentence showing the word in context.
  • Translations — equivalents in Castellano (Spanish), English, and Türkçe (Turkish).
  • Origin category (Orijines) — such as Jeneral or Torah/Tanah, where applicable.

Entry Guidelines

Entries should reflect authentic Judeo-Spanish usage. Provide clear, accurate translations and a well-formed example sentence. The origin field helps users understand the etymological background of each term. All submissions contribute to the collective effort of the Ladinokomunita community.
